Time travel

There have been lots of arguments, most of them pitting the left against the right, about whether Hugo Chavez's government is moving Venezuela forward or backwards. Now nobody can argue. I hope Hugo's seen Primer.

maps, telling someone they can no longer own and control one of the limited number of slots in the TV channel range is NOT restricting freedom of speech. one person controlling a TV channel dictatorially (such as in the case of private ownership) constitutes a restriction of freedom of speech for everyone else who is not the owner. Chavez isn't wrong here at all. you just hear all this crying about it in the US media because our government (and i am sure ideologically the media owners in the US) BACK, FINANCE, and SUPPORT the right-wing, rich fascists who tried a coup in 2002 and are fighting to hold onto their disgusting, wealthy elite status in society.

give me a fucking break. when Chavez shuts something down that is not run by 1 rich, powerful, scumbag, i will be against _that_.
